Explore ‘Slow Wine’ + Tapas on March 3

It’s called “Slow Wine” - but that doesn’t mean you take one sip an hour!

Come taste three small-production wines, paired with tapas created from Dark Wood Farm produce, on Sunday, March 3, from 2-4 p.m. at Taste on Elm and Conserva in Ludlow, Kentucky.

Owners Lauren and Challis focus their restaurant dishes, fine foods and wines for sale in the shop - and their gratitude - on producers who use natural processes.

The Slow Wine event is being hosted in partnership with Slow Food Cincinnati, a branch of the global movement that teaches people about good, clean and fairly produced food grown in their neighborhood.

Slow Food members, sommeliers and growers from Dark Wood Farm in Brooksville, Ky., will be on hand to explain the processes that create, as farmer Annie Woods writes, food that is “Tasty, good for you, and good for mother nature.”
